In particular with regard to DRM technologies the Centre inherited the experience, going back to 1996, of the Laboratorio Comunicazioni e Immagini of the Department of Electronics and Telecommunications of the University of Florence in watermarking and Electronic Copyright Management. This experience has been gained mainly with the participation in three EU funded projects (IMPRIMATUR, TRADEX, RightsWatch) and in several nationally funded activities (e.g. watermarking of Cultural Heritage still images, protection and authentication of remote sensing images). The DRM research has focused mainly on still and video watermarking and recently on 3D objects watermarking. Contact: Vito Capellini Web site: http://www.micc.unifi.it/ |
