Content: The purpose of this course is to give the participants the ability to understand and customise BRICKS content and metadata information models in order to satisfy hosting Institutions requirements.

Target audience: Information architects in cultural heritage domain, DBA (database administrators), and others interested in using and extending BRICKS information models.
Trainees expected pre-knowledge: Knowledge of XML, OWL, RDF, Content and Metadata models is required.
Training material offered: (before the training) BRICKS API reference Guide, BRICKS SDK (software development kit) b-node distribution, Java IDE and Runtime distribution (installed on laptop), Protégé v. 3.1 installed on laptop; (after the training) slides, user guide
Maximum number of trainees: 8-10
